The Town

The Town is a Rites of Passage story that follows the journey of an Oakland native named Chance who’s forced from his hometown at an early age and seeks refuge in Miami where he becomes an arrogant but effective real estate agent. His prediction that a new pipeline of money funneling into Miami due to direct flights to and from Asia has paid offgenerously and put him in the running to become the youngest partner at Kalmenson & Kalmenson Inc. At the height of his success, he is terrorized by nightmares from his past and is devastated when he’s blindsided by the news that his kid sister was diagnosed with breast cancer. Once back in Oakland, he soon realizes that the city’s problems go deeper than he imagined and may have a connection to his troubled past.
